Lunge and Twist

Starting Position:
Standing with feet shoulder width apart.  Med-ball is held at waist height.

Movement:
Step forward into a front lunge.  On reaching the “down” position rotate the med ball and torso to the side of the lead leg.  Immediately return to the starting position and repeat for the designated number of reps.  Sequence is repeated with the other leg.

Speed:
Moderate.

Variations:
Introduce added resistance (such as a heavier med ball)
