Are You Scoring Enough Goals: 1v1 / 2v1 / 2v2 / 3v2

Players must learn to dominate in personal duels – in 1v1 as well as small groups (2v1 / 2v2 etc).   In modern football (soccer) it is becoming increasingly more difficult for players to create chances to score due to highly organised defensive strategies. For this reason, it is important to develop players who can utilize their awareness, quick decision-making and ability with the ball in tight spaces to create scoring chances.  Are You Scoring Enough Goals: 1v1 / 2v1 / 2v2 / 3v2 is a session that can help!

In its simplest form the game can be broken down into 1v1 duels! Ask yourself – ‘Can my players be successful in these 1v1 situations?’

Try these activities to develop both the Attacking and Defensive ability of your players.  These games can also create a highly competitive environment within your training sessions.

Good Luck!
